LGBT Asylum presents: Leave no one behind: Migration Policy Lab
How can we enhance the protection of LGBTQ+ people on the run outside of Europe?
Meet students from other disciplines, develop innovative strategies and present them to a panel of experts
The Migration Policy Lab is a full-day workshop (9-16 o’clock) for university students. The students will be tasked with developing new innovative strategies for the refugee response of the future with a focus on the specific challenges of LGBTQ+ refugees. At the end of the workshop, the students will present their strategies to a panel of politicians and other stakeholders.
For our workshop in Aarhus, Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke (Action Aid) will be co-host. The workshop in Copenhagen is co-hosted by the Global Refugee Studies Research Group from Aalborg University Copenhagen. The Migration Policy Lab is funded by CISU (Civil Society in Development).
